Thrilled to see Jo Clarkson launch her Life Coaching business.
She had this to say about her experience of having her website made by Neighbourhood Online:
“I had the pleasure of working with Lucy in the creation of my website for my new coaching business and I am going to give some honest feedback about my experience of working with her.
At the beginning of the process I wasn’t sure what I wanted or needed, other than a virtual space that had my email address on it!
I was also rather hung up on looking at other coaches’ sites and how they looked, which in retrospect was me being a bit fearful of showing who I was and what I was offering.
I had no real idea about functionality or how the website could come alive. Fairly technically blind I guess!
But that turned out to be okay, because working with Lucy she keeps you focussed on the magical aspects what I know most about – me and my unique business vision.
The magical aspects, yes! Lucy used her nurturing powers of gently helping me to distil my own essence, if you will.
She skilfully helped me to focus in on what makes my brand unique and encouraged me to use some powerful reflective writing that had given me spin-tingle moments as I wrote it.
She encouraged me to see this as the basis of my site and how I use words on my website. She led the process in a way that felt both exciting and straightforward.
Looking back, Lucy was brilliant in that she didn’t tell me anything I didn’t need to know at each step.
She refrained from blinding me with technical information that would have worried and overwhelmed me.
Instead she engaged me on the most important bits and then skillfully caretaked behind the scenes to make what I wanted work.
When Lucy presented me with the draft site I was a bit emotional to say the least and particularly blown away by Lucy’s design ability. I was immediately happy with her ideas because she had really taken the time to tune into me.
She had also created a site that looked a million miles away from the stuffy old-fashioned sites I was coveting.
We created something stylish, fresh and very ‘now’ which is exactly what I wanted but didn’t quite realise!
She checked in with me a lot and celebrated our results. Lucy is very present with you and wants to be in the moment with her clients. She really cares how you feel – marketing after all is about making feelings – and she doesn’t scrimp on time and attention she gives you.
I couldn’t believe how great my site was, and I have since shown it to some coaching peers who are frankly a bit jealous.
Lucy was also a thorough and sturdy presence when it came to the technical handover bit. She made it all clear and bite-sized.
She said that she would be around if I needed support and thankfully didn’t do one of those cringy hard sells about future upgrades for products. There was just a nice invitation for a future conversation.
That was refreshing!

I highly recommend working with her and going on a creative adventure that was immensely good for the soul in the process of making a website that looks professional and inviting.
